David spent the first six years of his career with a top 10 accounting firm. He became a Berg Kaprow Lewis partner in 1992, acting for a diverse portfolio of clients, particularly privately-owned, growing businesses.

In 2003, he left to become group finance director for a Berg Kaprow Lewis client, an international group of companies with a £275 million turnover. In that role, he was responsible for all aspects of the group’s finance function, including financial reporting and controls, negotiating with banks, acquisitions, strategy and foreign exchange hedging.

After missing hands-on client work, David returned to Berg Kaprow Lewis in 2006. His expertise includes two decades of general accounting experience, experience in inward investment and corporate finance and a unique combination of advisory and in-house commercial roles.
