Inward investment
When you’re looking to set up a company in the UK from abroad, you want to work with people who understand what you need and can make things happen, efficiently and expertly. That’s what you’ll find at Berg Kaprow Lewis.
With experience as accountants and clients, our team understands the issues and concerns facing inward investing companies of all sizes, from start-ups to international groups.
We can act as your virtual finance department, but we also offer additional support in specialist areas including tax planning, transfer pricing, foreign exchange and acquisitions.
Our team is led by David Goldschmidt, who has more than 15 years’ experience as an inward investment adviser. For three years, he was the financial director of a £275 million multi-national group, giving him invaluable, hands-on experience of the issues facing parent companies dealing with overseas subsidiaries.

We are also expert in dealing with specific overseas tax issues, including transfer pricing, double tax treaties, interaction of home and UK taxes, VAT issues, import duty, employee tax and residency.
Employment law is a minefield for all companies and particularly if you are new to the UK. Our BKL Human Resources division can guide you on issues such as contracts of employment, recruitment, remuneration and employment policies and procedures.
